Rabies Prevention Day celebrations: Pets and stray animals will be vaccinated free of cost

Rabies Prevention Day is celebrated every year on 28th September, as part of the Animal Husbandry Department in collaboration with various organizations at the Veterinary Polyclinic near Shastri Bridge. It has been planned to provide free anti-rabies vaccine and deworming services to pets and stray animals. It can be availed between 8 am to 12 pm.

Anti-rabies means anti-rabies vaccine was first discovered by the scientist Louis Pasteur. On his holy day, Anti-rabies day is celebrated through various awareness programs to protect animal and human health.

Giving detailed information about this, Assistant Animal Husbandry Director of Vadodara District Panchayat Dr. Jignesh Dave said that with the courtesy of all the institutions located at Vadodara of the State Animal Husbandry Department and Vadodara Veterinary Society, Vadodara and veterinary pharmaceutical companies like Baroda Pharmacy, Vetoquinol Animal Health, Virback Animal Health. , TTK, and with the technical support of Healthcare, Bills Biotech, Xanax Animal Health, Signet Animal Health, Hester Bioscience, Sky EC, Drools, Mankind, etc. this “Anti Rabies Camp” has been organized at Veterinary Polyclinic, Vadodara (Near Shastri Bridge) from 8-12 today. He has also requested all the animal lovers of Vadodara to take advantage. “World Rabies Day”.

This year the theme of “World Rabies Day 2022” is “One Health, Zero Death”. By the year 2030, the rate of human death due to rabies is zero.
