In Vadodara, the exams were conducted under police bandobast following recent threat emails to schools in the city. Police personnel were deployed at examination centres as a precautionary measure. Students were welcomed at some centres with tilak and flowers.
Under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Class 10 students will now have the option to appear twice in a year, with the February session being mandatory. Class 12 answer sheets will be evaluated through an on-screen marking system.
