Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations in Vadodara See Peaceful Gatherings at Eidgah

Vadodara celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday following the sighting of the crescent moon on Friday evening, marking the end of the month-long Ramadan fasting period.

Large gatherings were seen across the city, with the main congregation held at the historic Eidgah ground. Thousands of people, including men, women, and children, attended the special morning prayers. People were seen dressed in traditional attire and arrived early to participate in the namaz.

City Khatib Ameerullah Syed led the prayers at the Eidgah, where devotees also offered prayers for peace, harmony, and the progress of the country. Similar gatherings were reported at various mosques in different parts of Vadodara.

Following the prayers, people greeted each other with “Eid Mubarak” and exchanged wishes. Children were seen receiving Eidi, adding to the festive atmosphere.

No untoward incidents were reported, and the celebrations across the city remained peaceful.
