18 Vadodara Schools Receive Threat Emails; No Suspicious Objects Found

Vadodara: Nearly 18 schools across the city received threatening emails early this morning, prompting immediate action from the authorities. Following the alerts, the Vadodara Police coordinated with the District Education Office (DEO) and began precautionary checks at the identified school campuses.

DYSP Milan Modi informed the media that as soon as the emails were reported, security measures were tightened. Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) teams carried out detailed inspections at all the concerned schools. The campuses were thoroughly checked and sanitized from a security point of view.

Police officials have confirmed that no suspicious objects have been found so far.

An FIR has been registered at the respective police stations. The Cyber Crime team has started a technical investigation to trace the source of the emails and examine related digital evidence.

Police have appealed to citizens not to spread rumours and to remain calm. Further investigation is underway, and more details are awaited.
