Rajkot’s Dhoraji witnessed a supreme sample of craftsman. By using intelligence and sheer hard work, a repairman has successfully created motorcycle from bicycle that runs and offers the same features as any other motorcycle.
A man named Idrishbhai Meenya, a craftsman living in Dhoraji and working as a radiator and battery repairman, has made motorcycle out of a bicycle with his wits and ingenuity which is cheaper than other motorcycles and offers the same facilities as other motorcycles in terms of average and features.
He says, “Nowadays, if someone buys a new normal motorcycle, it costs from one lakh to two and a half lakhs. A person from a normal and poor family cannot buy a motorcycle, so I have tried making a motorcycle from the bicycle to make it affordable for the poor and middle class.”
The cost of making this is only rupees 35,000 which is affordable to everyone. By designing it like a bicycle, a motorcycle was made by him. People are all praises for his work. It has been said that the average of this motorcycle is also the same as other motorcycles ranging from 60 to 65.
The creator himself belongs to a poor middle class family. He said that since the inflation is increasing day by day, in which the prices of petrol-diesel and new vehicles is also shooting, it is not feasible for every person to buy a motorcycle worth one and a half lakh rupees. People can now rely on his motorcycle which is easy on pocket. Eight months ago, Idrishbhai Meenya had come up with an idea to create a motorcycle and do something innovative for the people. Whenever he goes out with this motorcycle in the city, people stand to see this motorcycle and also enjoy taking a test drive.
