Vadodara Teacher Sunil Patel Enters India Book of Records for Cycling

Vadodara-based teacher Sunil B. Patel, 57, has been recognised in the India Book of Records for the third time for his cycling achievements.

According to available details, Patel completed 50 km of cycling every day for 1,230 consecutive days between January 2, 2022 and February 12, 2026. He had earlier set records for completing 179 rides of 50 km and for cycling continuously for 625 days.

Originally from Kapadvanj and currently based in Vadodara, Patel follows a fixed routine, starting his day early morning and cycling across the city. He also uses his bicycle for daily commute to work.

Over time, he has covered more than 70,000 km on his bicycle. Apart from the India Book of Records, his name has also been listed in other record platforms.
