Vadodara: An incident at SSG Hospital has raised questions after a patient was seen moving out of the premises without wheelchair support. The incident reportedly took place recently at Sir Sayajirao General (SSG) Hospital in the city.
According to information available, a patient identified as Ajay, who had a bandage tied on his leg, was seen dragging himself while exiting the hospital. A video of the incident has circulated locally. It is reported that no stretcher or wheelchair was provided at that time. No family member was present with the patient when the visuals were recorded.
It is not yet clear under what circumstances assistance was not arranged. Hospital authorities have not issued a detailed statement so far.
