Advocate Khush Brahmbhatt, a young legal professional from Vadodara, has been shortlisted for the 9th Indian Ocean Conference 2026. The conference will be held from April 10 to 12 in Port Louis, Mauritius, and is being organised by the India Foundation in collaboration with the Government of Mauritius.
This year’s theme, “Collective Security for Indian Ocean Governance,” will focus on issues such as maritime security, regional cooperation, and geopolitical challenges. The event is expected to see participation from policymakers, diplomats, and experts from multiple countries.
Brahmbhatt has been active in the legal field and has also worked in areas related to public policy, youth leadership, and governance. He has been associated with various national and state-level initiatives aimed at involving youth in policy discussions.
His selection is being seen as recognition of his work and provides an opportunity to represent India’s perspective at an international platform. Further details about his participation and role at the conference are awaited.
