Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated at the Kashtbhanjan Hanuman Temple in Sarangpur with large participation from devotees and organised religious events.
The celebrations began on the previous evening with a light and sound show held near the 54-foot Hanuman idol, along with fireworks. On the main day, at around 9 am, approximately one lakh balloons were released as part of the event. A 151-kg cake was also cut during the celebration. Temple authorities arranged Annakut and distributed prasad to visiting devotees.
Religious leaders and saints were present during the event, where a mass aarti was conducted with participation from a large number of people. The temple premises and surrounding areas saw heavy footfall throughout the day.
To manage the crowd, the temple trust and local administration put security and crowd control measures in place. Volunteers were deployed to assist devotees and ensure smooth darshan.
