Vadodara Begins Preparations Ahead of PM Modi’s Likely Visit

Vadodara Civic Body Reviews Preparations Ahead of PM Modi’s Likely Visit

The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has begun preparations ahead of the possible visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Municipal Commissioner Arun Mahesh Babu conducted a field inspection of key routes in the city on Monday morning.

Officials reviewed roads from the airport to the national highway, focusing on repair work and drainage conditions. Instructions were issued to carry out necessary maintenance to avoid disruptions, especially with the monsoon approaching.

The inspection was carried out with officials from VMC, VUDA, the district administration, and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to ensure coordination across departments.

The civic body has also intensified its cleanliness drive. The ongoing “One Day One Road” campaign is being expanded into zone-wise operations across different parts of the city.

Authorities have appealed to residents to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness. Further updates regarding the visit schedule are awaited.
