Food Review: Meraki Restaurant

In the green lush Alkapuri area is MERAKI, which is definitely a place to visit. From their wide menu to the prompt and coordinated service, this place did not let us down.

We had the following for lunch…

SOUP:

[Veg] Basil Badam Shorba– A nourishing delight, with Almonds in abundance and freshness of Basil to relish upon.

[Non-Veg] Yakhni Shorba– A Kashmiri Style Broth known for its richness and mild yet distinct flavors.

SALAD:

[Veg] Som Tom – spicy Thai salad with green papaya, raw mango, peanuts and more pounded in mortar predominantly known for it’s sweet and sour taste. Certainly a fresh palette.

CLASSIC INDIAN APPETIZERS:

[Veg] Malai Broccoli– An interesting spin of the exotic vegetable Broccoli in Indian and Awadh spices, later garnished with Mozzarella and Cheddar.

[Non-Veg] Ghee Roast Prawns– A Manglorian delicacy, combining  Guntur chilli with an array of coastal aromas, served with Neer Dosa.

WORLD MAIN COURSE:

[Veg] Vietnamese Curry– Infused with coconut milk, ginger, and lemongrass, this curry has both vegetarian & non-vegetarian variants, which is served with steaming stir fried rice.

INDIAN MAIN COURSE:

[Veg] Kerala Vegetable Stew– lightly spiced, delicate and an aromatic stew with mixed vegetables, coconut milk and spices served with Appam.

The place has an ambiance that speaks comfort and class. Overall, each dish was very fresh and had its authentic taste. The staff was attentive and organized. It is a bit on the higher side, but worth every penny! If you want to explore, you won’t have any regrets.
