Bhakarwadi & Lilo Chevdo reaches USA

It’s no surprise when a Barodian who shifts to US start missing having authentic Indian Food, and specially a Barodian will miss the popular dishes of the city like Bhakarwadi, Lilo chevdo and not to forget Sev Usal. Vadodara’s old and Famous Jagdish Farshan has opened it’s first international outlet in South Plainfield at New Jersey, USA. Located near to Edison which has the largest Indian Community.

“There was a demand by Indians specially Barodians to get fresh, Quality Farshan and Sweets in US. we have specifically focused on the quality and taste and curated a different kind of menu for Indians as well as Americans” says Aakash Kandoi, Director at Jagdish Farshan.
The store also serves Baroda famous Sev Usal, Bhajiyas and other mini meal which is the most in demand among Barodians staying here.

Samosa is another favourite Indian food among Americans, which they love to have it with a coffee.

Jagdish Farshan has started eight decades back in 1938 by Shri Raja Ratanlal Keshavlal Kandoi. He started the business of preparing, processing and packing of sweets & salty eatables from his small house in the centre of city Vadodara

    Congratulations for a new start abroad.
    Not only in USA but you need open one in Australia….Melbourne too.😊
    I myself am Barodian, after my wedding settled in Ahmedabad since 29yrs but still I really miss the bhakharvadi…chavdo…my in laws inset on getting it from the Gubelibaug wali store only even today.My son is in Melbourne so wished you open one there too bcz hes a big fan too.
