Former MSU student becomes victim to suspicious murder; investigation demanded by Student Leaders

Former Commerce Faculty Class Representative of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda was victim to a suspicious murder; Student Leaders from the university have come together to demand a fair investigation into the case. On Tuesday, an application was sent to the Vadodara Police Commissioner to raise doubt over the death of the Student Leader and request a further investigation on the matter.

On 6th November, the body of Vasudev Pravinbhai Patel was found on the railway track near Manjalpur. Police began an investigation after registering the case. However, his friend and former UGS, Vraj Patel, along with other Student Leaders, raised suspicion over his death and demanded a fair investigation by the police. All students wore black ribbons and reached the Police Bhavan to hand in a demand application to the commissioner.

“Vasudev was very humble and never had any arguments or fights with others. He is a strong character and never took such an extreme step; he regularly came to my Diwali fire-cracker stall and never looked tense. It is a murder, and we demand a fair investigation into the suspicious death, “said Vraj Patel, former Student Leader of MSU Baroda.

Ronak Patel, the deceased brother, accompanied the student leaders and demanded justice for his brother.
