Board Exams Begin in Vadodara; Police Deployed at Centres

Board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 began today across Gujarat, with 1,701 centres operational statewide. In Vadodara, multiple examination centres reported smooth arrangements as students arrived early in the morning to appear for their first papers.

At several centres in the city, parents accompanied their children and were seen offering encouragement before entry. School authorities ensured students carried admit cards and required materials before allowing them inside.

Vadodara City Police personnel were deployed outside key centres to manage traffic and maintain order. Officers also assisted students in locating their assigned venues where required. Officials from the education department confirmed that necessary arrangements, including seating and supervision, were in place.

Authorities have advised students to remain calm and follow examination guidelines. The exams will continue as per the schedule announced by the board. Further updates are expected as the examination process progresses in the coming days.
