Water supply cut in these areas for 3 days

VADODARA, India — Water supply to parts of Vadodara will be disrupted for three days starting Jan. 31 due to a scheduled power shutdown and new pipeline connection work, affecting approximately 250,000 residents, authorities said Tuesday.

On Jan. 31, areas under the Jambuva tank and Makarpura booster will see changes in water supply timings due to electricity maintenance. On Feb. 2, morning supply will continue as usual near Kalpana Nagar, but evening distribution will be suspended for pipeline work. On Feb. 3, residents in the Pani Gate and Nalanda tank zones will experience low-pressure water flow and shortened supply windows.

The Vadodara Municipal Corporation has urged residents in affected areas—including Makarpura, New VIP Road, and Pani Gate—to store water in advance to minimize inconvenience.
