This winter, two foundations participate to deliver warmth to the city’s underprivileged

Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal and R.C. Patel Foundation in Vadodara will be collecting 11,111 blankets from contributors to support the destitute throughout the winter; the collected blankets, will be handed to the impoverished, and the team will be on the lookout for any irregularities.

The organization has made a public request for people to come forward and help with the campaign. Around 32 members will be involved in this collection drive, which will begin on November 8th and run until 15th November. “11,111 blankets will be collected from citizens, religious organizations, industries and various organizations and distributed to the needy in the city and district. A team will be formed to prevent any misuse of donations. We request people to donate fresh blankets in view of the current scenario and later will distribute it to the underprivileged in the city and district,” Tarang Shah of the Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal made this statement.

Before Diwali, the club collected 15,000 clothes and went out for a donation drive. They built counters in various locations where individuals could pick up their preferred clothing. This year, a full-fledged effort will be made to ensure that no one suffers from the cold, according to the Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal team.
