Missing 5-Year-Old Found Safe After Wandering from Railway Station

VADODARA, India – A 5-year-old boy who went missing from Platform No. 1 at the city railway station was found safe late Monday night, according to police. The child, son of Anilbhai Vasfoda of Khodiyar Nagar in the Sama area, had wandered off while his father slept nearby following a family dispute, Jan. 29.

Police said Vasfoda brought the boy to the station after an argument with his wife. Believing the child may have returned home on his own, Vasfoda initially did not raise an alarm. When the boy was not found at home, he filed a missing person report with the Railway Police.

Authorities reviewed CCTV footage and launched a search operation. The child was seen walking away with an unknown person. After tracing the individual, police recovered the boy unharmed and reunited him with his family.
