CHASE YOUR DREAMS, YOU MIGHT CATCH ONE!

Since a month we are reading news about many teenage suicide cases. We thought to bring this story especially for youngsters who think life ‘ends’ with a minor setback.
.
During summer vacations, when children are visiting their grandparents, busy playing video games, joining art classes or traveling to new places.. here is Ganesh, selling ‘chai’ 9-5 and waits tables at a Chinese laari till midnight.

Why?

Because he aspires to become a Chartered Accountant!
.
Losing his mother at a tender age of 8 and then his father due to Pneumonia at 10, he only had his elder brother and 2 younger sisters to fall back onto. These 4 siblings live by themselves as none of his relatives volunteered to help them out.
Taking advantage of the vacation, this 12th Commerce student’s day starts with preparing breakfast & lunch for his brother and sister before he leaves for work at a tea-stall. Evenings are spent at a Chinese laari near Dandia Bazaar bridge where he is a waiter. He works this hard every day to save up for his education fees.
When asked about his future plans, we assumed that he would take up some odd job after finishing school. But, to our surprise, he answered with a beaming smile “Chartered Accountant!” He knows that education is not getting cheaper any day and so he plans to work part-time during his college as well while also supporting his family.
.
Life is always tricky but never consider it as a joke. You will find numerous reasons to quit but, the finest steel has to go through the hottest fire, doesn’t it? 🙂
