Bhimnath Bridge road to remain closed for 45 days in Vadodara
VADODARA INDIA: The road leading towards Bhimnath Bridge in Vadodara will remain partially closed to vehicular traffic for the next 45 days due to sewer line installation work by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation. The closure will come into effect from 2 February, officials said.
As per the civic body, the left side of the road towards Bhimnath Bridge will be closed during the work period. The project involves laying a new underground sewer line in the eastern part of the city. Traffic movement on this stretch is expected to be affected during the construction period.
To reduce inconvenience to commuters, the municipal corporation has announced alternate routes. Vehicles can take a left turn from Kala Ghoda (Baroda Auto) and proceed via Lemon Tree Hotel crossroads, Parsi Agiary, and Dairy Den Circle, before reaching Surya Palace Hotel and continuing further. Motorists travelling from Kala Ghoda towards Alkapuri have also been advised to use alternate routes via the Alkapuri underpass.
The civic body has requested motorists to follow traffic advisories and cooperate until the work is completed. Further updates will be issued if required.
