Music, the master of our life: A dive into the integral element

Music is an art. An art that is subtly created by the artists who sense different dynamics of life. Music is the only element that can be sensed, felt, read, sung, evolved, studied, and observed. It is the only element that tears apart the heart, as well as heals it. It is made through the various combinations and permutations of different sciences. It affects all the existing biotic components and holds vast energy capable of altering one’s life in a very affirmative way.

There are many different branches of music, say pop music, rock, classical, country, jazz, hip hop, folk, electronic, trance, instrumental, and a lot many more. Classical music, being the fundamental of almost every other variant of music, is a clear case example that shows how music evolved. It is defined and denoted differently among the different parts of the globe, but this doesn’t change any of the constructed bases of music.

Nidhi Parvatikar, a musician from Vadodara quoted “Music is a medicine which will heal you in no time. And if forever is a thing, then it will be music”. It is an energy that can change a person’s vision, insights, views, perception, perseverance, personality, psychology, philosophy, and the person. It orders the disorder, and it frees the suppressed.

A feeling which changes the entire emotional anatomy of a person. It is responsible for bringing rapid changes to human responses and behaviors as it alters our emotions and feelings. Imagine a person who’s sad and is missing someone, music will provide that person a sense of satisfaction. Imagine a devoted person, music gives that person a sense of devotion. Imagine a melancholic person, music will give that person a sense of happiness. It covers a diverse range and domains of human fundamentals and emotions. 

Did you know that music has been helping people in recovering from major disorders? It is believed that music is a language that a blind can see and a deaf can hear. It attracts the ears, the heart feels it, and the mind accepts it. Studies have shown that music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain, it also improves sleep quality, moods, and memory. The heart designs each beat of the music with it and both work parallel. It gives a person a sense of existence that I don’t think any other art can provide and also changes a person’s entire thinking mechanism.

Wonderful scenery is just how people see music. “A world without music would equal my body without a soul. It would be just flesh and bones, but no energy governing it. I’m energy coated in human flesh and that energy is nothing but the music itself”, said Yashgiri Goswami, an admirer who has evolved with the help of music. It offers faith and hopes to the ones who are in desperate need of it. It designs new emotions for a person such as admiration, adoration, calmness, anxiety, relief, pain, fear, joy, sadness, excitement, entrancement, satisfaction, happiness, and melancholy. It alters each of these emotions, helps you to enhance or deal with them, and helps everyone to express themselves without words and to change their reality completely. It is a choice we make which gives us motivation, inspiration, and meaning.

Music has modified everyone’s life in ways one can’t even imagine. It can not be described with the help of a series of alphabets. No, it can only be felt. It is not just an escape and comfort, but also an acceptance. Music changes the dynamics of the life of a person and it can change the person entirely. It is up to us, how we see music, how we accept it, how we choose to be with it, and how we let it define us. It is the melody and the harmony that we need.
