Vadodara Crime Branch filed case against Oasis Institute for withholding crucial  information

The Vadodara crime branch has filed a complaint against Oasis Institute for concealing information and failing to report the serious offense to the police. The police have filed an IPC 176, 202, 114 complaints against Vaishnavi Taparia, Managing Trustee Preeti Shah, and her husband Sanjeev Shah, and are continuing their investigation.

The team discovered that the deceased girl was enrolled in an MHE program at Oasis Institute and working in the book publishing department as a store manager. The girl told the Oasis trustee and other females who worked there about the incident. Regardless, they do nothing and conceal the incident, although it is a significant criminal violation.

According to the police release, if the Oasis responsible parties alerted the police department promptly, it would be easier for the police to investigate the case, collect evidence, and maybe save the girl’s life. The trustees and responsible do not show urgency in supplying documentation proof at first, only to offer it later after extensive questioning, and hence do not help the investigation.

According to the announcement, during the inquiry into their role in concealing the occurrence, Vaishnavi Taparia was the first to learn about the incident on 29th October and called Oasis Management Trustee Preeti Shah and her husband, Sanjeev Shah.

After complaints were made against the Oasis Institute, crime branch ACP D.S. Chauhan is investigating. During this time, police filed a case against the responsible party based on evidence, and action will be conducted accordingly, resulting in the cancellation of the registration.

Despite knowing the seriousness of the act, they fail to notify the police or her parents for whatever reason. As a result, Vaishnavi Taparia, Preeti Shah, and Sanjeev Shah got charged and investigated under IPC 176, 202, and 114.
