Vadodara gets its first ever Pop-art Emoji circle at Fatehgunj

Santushti is a brand that does not need any introduction, such is its success. The city of Vadodara has whole-heartedly embraced all the delicious shakes that Santushti has to offer.

It has become a legacy of its own kind and its achievements have paved the way for them to have its own traffic island in Fatehgunj, Vadodara. On the special occasion of 15th August, Santushti unveiled its sculpture, one with a colorful thick shake glass and three fun and attractive smiley with hands made of spoons and hanging birdhouses.

The circle has always attracted birds and this statue will serve as a noble cause as Santushti vows to ensure food and water for the birds and the birdhouses to provide them shelter and protection. The ceremony was inaugurated by the Honorable Mayor of Vadodara, Smt. Dr. Jigeeshaben Sheth.

When asked as to why an “Emoji Circle”? Mr Bhavesh Explained “Emojis are deeply engrained into our lives, enabling us to communicate smart! We brought these Emojis into the real world and created Vadodara’s first ever Emoji Sculpture. These happy faces will surely bring smile on your face!”

The traffic island is in a way, an ode to the city of Vadodara on their behalf. Fatehgunj circle has a special place for Santushti as the first branch was opened there.

Santushti has been providing a wide range of delectable and authentic shakes to Barodians. What started off as a local brand has gained nationwide and international popularity too. With a strong belief to provide a unique taste and pure contentment in every sip, Santushti delivers real shakes that are not just about blending ice-cream with milk.

An incredibly ordinary family- The Chelani, settled in Anand and started their living with a small restaurant. The family has set a tradition of serving the people of Gujarat and gradually became the pioneers of their field. Soon at a very young age, Sunilbhai Chelani started working in the ice-cream and juice industry.

On the occasion of his birthday on 2nd November 2008, he came up with his brain-child; Santushti-Shakes and More, with the intention of providing world-class shakes to their patrons. It aims to serve with three principles- quality, variety, and value for money. In 2011, Vadodara was first introduced to the concept of thick shakes.

What started from a humble outlet at Rajkot’s Dr. Yagnik Road, has become a national rage and will soon get international recognition.

After providing exceptional quality of shakes in Rajkot, an outlet was opened in Vadodara which also provided financial help to a member of Sunilbhai’s family. Within a short span of time, Santushti was received with a huge welcome among the crowd of Vadodara and he won the hearts of his customers by taking their feedback into immediate consideration.

Soon his elder brother also joined the family business after quitting his high-profile career as a Chartered Accountant. Two skilled and experienced minds came together and Santushti became a private limited. A large factory was established in a year and the company saw rapid growth.

Sunilbhai firmly believed that a true shake did not need ice-cream. So, he went in search of better technology to foreign countries and sought knowledge. It was in Europe where he learned the different variations of shakes sans the ice-cream. He picked up the techniques of serving different flavors from their originating countries and bestowed his patrons with taste bud tingling experience.

Santushti gained immense popularity and love and opened 35 stores across Gujarat. On the other hand, Dessertino, which is one of the venture of Santushti in Mumbai, was launched in 2008. There are currently 4 outlets in Mumbai. The amount of love and affection received by patrons will gain Santushti a National Brand recognition within 2 years, by growing out of Gujarat. So next time you see a Dessertino outlet anywhere outside of Gujarat; its your very own Santushti Shakes and More!

A huge factory unit is to be set up for packed and organic milk products. Santushti is the fastest-growing private dairy sector in Gujarat. It has already made its presence felt in a lot of countries; Two outlets of Dessertino will be opening by August 31st 2020 in Dubai. Santushti is also aiming to reach South African and North American market till the end of 2020. While for the rest of the countries the execution is aligned for 2025.

Sunilbhai supervises all the work and he specializes in employing. The employees are trained on how to make shakes, the method involved, and personally guide them. Every measure is taken to ensure a perfect taste of the shake, for which expensive dispensers are used.

Santushti has a Central FSSAI license, which is a highly regarded achievement and aspires for HACCP.  The success of Santushti is inspired by Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’, which has given Santushti it’s recognition.

Celebrities like Prince Gupta, Siddharth Randeria, Apara Mehta, Kiran Rao were all praises about the taste and quality of Santushti’s products.
