As the city gears up for Ganeshotsav celebrations, the streets come alive with vibrant processions and devotees welcoming Lord Ganesha with the rhythmic beats of DJ music. However, in a bid to curb noise pollution, the police have recently imposed certain restrictions on DJ performances. During a special meeting between the police and Vadodara’s DJ managers, several crucial matters were deliberated upon, leading to new guidelines for DJ performances.
In an effort to maintain decorum and reduce noise pollution levels, the police have advised DJ managers to operate within prescribed volume limits. They have also strongly encouraged compliance with the notification, emphasizing the importance of adhering to noise regulations. Furthermore, DJ managers have been urged to refrain from playing any content that might be deemed vulgar or offensive.
These measures aim to strike a balance between celebrating with music and ensuring a peaceful environment for all residents. As the city prepares to welcome Lord Ganesha, the melodies of DJ music will continue to resonate, but with a more considerate approach towards noise levels and content.
