The Barbeque Grill (T.B.G)

Unlimited non-vegetarian delights, palatable flavors, and a unique ambiance which goes back to the roots of Vadodara. This is what The Barbeque Grill offers on the platter. Not just tandoors and grills, but TBG also provides variety of mock-tails, and a huge range for main course and dessert.

As soon as I entered TBG, I smelled the magical aroma of charcoal sigri, infused with the fragrance of scented candles. Majorly the reason being the private booth for candle light lunch or dinner, along with the flaming barbeque. On my right was a wall graffiti, which depicted every single thing which constitutes Vadodara. L&T, ABB, Fatehgunj Circle, Genda Circle, and every little thing which makes up the identity of Vadodara, is beautifully painted on the walls of the restaurant. While I sat on my seat, tapping my foot on the old Hindi Instrumental music, I experienced some great hospitality. The Men In Black, that is how I would mention the workers there, treated their customers just like they have known you for years before you met them.

As I waited for my delicacies to greet me with their presence, I was pampered by some exotic mocktails. I would rather say INTERESTING mocktails, because what I ordered a drink named as Icey Spicey. What hit my mind instantly was cinnamon flavored drink, but what it turned out to be was a drink made of sweet soda and fresh green chillies. Now that level of surprise you can expect from this restaurant, and with all my pride and confidence, I would acclaim it to be really exquisite. After getting into the flavor of the drink, what comes is the variety of barbeque dishes.

Being a loyal non-vegetarian, I had a feast. Not just chicken, but prawns, seafood, mutton, and lot more to drive a foodie crazy.

The Grill

After unlimited starters, what awaits is the elaborate main course, which will soothe the taste buds of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. For a paneer lover like me, I had a complete little party, because from salads to gravies, I had enough amount of paneer to fill my stomach.

Now, what stole my heart was the stupendous variety of desserts. Having a special affection for ‘all so sweet’, I could not fix my eye one. From firni to Tiramisu, from gulab jamun to souffle, brownie to ice creams, name it and you have it.

Dessert

What stole the brownie point which sets aside TBG from other similar restaurants(original being The Barbeque Nation) is the considerably reasonable pricing that it offers, with any change in the quality of food. Maintains immensely good hygiene.

This is definitely worth a try!!!
