The engines for the bullet train Kamatibaug have arrived. It will be fully AC and will be fully functional as soon as the engines arrive.
The fully AC bullet toy train will be replacing the train that is currently running in Kamatibaug and the fare will be slightly higher.
The VMC had put up the proposal for the bullet train in 2018-2019. The proposal ended up in a controversy after users of the garden as well as opposing congress members objected on the move.
A controversy was created last year when it came to light that no fresh tenders were created for the project and VMC wanted to use existing contractors.
