Gujarat Tourism with Alcohol prohibition policy? Need Changes?

CM Vijay Rupani announced a new Heritage Tourism Policy- 2020-25 under which Palaces, forts, and other heritage places built before 1950 can have a restaurant, banquet hall, or a hotel set up without alteration to the original or basic structure. This will generate local employment and attract tourists. Loans and subsidy will be given by the Gujarat government for the setup.

But Radhika Raje Gaekwad from the royal family of Baroda said in a recent interview that the alcohol prohibition policy of Gujarat is a hindrance in flourishing the tourism of Gujarat. It is possible to enjoy the destination wedding in Rajasthan with a glass of wine. Gujarat is bestowed with a rich heritage, palaces, forts, and coastal line.
