Facebook Community Circles, Vadodara chapter organised an event wherein invited humorists Manan Desai and Chirayu Mistry from ‘The Comedy Factory’ to discuss their views on ‘The growing impact of Social Media on businesses’ as a part of their regular meet ups . The event took place in Fortune Inn Promenade, Akota inviting people over and giving them a chance for a one on one QnA session with the speakers towards the end of the meet up.
Social Media, being easily accessible has now become an integral part in growing businesses. It can be used for generating insights, test and simulate consumer demand and build one’s own brand. Social media has played an integral role for ‘The Comedy Factory’ to emerge as a brand. In the era of growing influencers, beginners are expected to deliver quality content keeping in mind the audience.
Towards the end, questions were taken from the audience. The speakers explained the importance of consistency and delivery of good content on social media platforms. The artists also expressed their concern towards the need of educating people about social media ethics giving real life instances from their past experiences. The session ended in high spirits followed by tea and snacks for everybody.
