FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

It was a usual night which turned out to be the worst nightmare ever for me and my family. It just took a phone call to turn our world upside down. My son Abhimanyu was attacked by someone while returning home and was rushed to the hospital. He was brave enough to reach the hospital but that’s when he collapsed and our world stood still. We filed a case against the accused, presented all the required proofs to prove him guilty but due to some or the other reasons he keeps getting bails. It’s been a year and a half since that night but to our disappointment, no significant steps have been taken by the judiciaries to punish the accused. But we have full faith in our judicial system, if not today but someday we will see the accused behind the bars being punished for his deeds.

Enjoy life but you also need to understand the limits. Staying out till late night is not really safe especially for girls these days; make sure you don’t have to learn it the hard way not everyone is as good as you are. I always used to ask abhimany to settle down in Australia after completion of his studies, and he would refuse to do so, I wish deep down had he stayed back I would never have to see a day without him in this world. I am strong but I am also a mother and it is very hard to see the one, roam about freely who has caused the storm in your life. The generation these days is totally carefree but they need to understand that parents are continuously worried and that they care. When a person passes away it leaves behind a trail for the people who are attached to them making it nearly impossible to survive but they are left with no choice. Abhimany would never express anything but in his phone I found a text saying “My Mom is my 1st and 2nd Love” reading that one message brings sunshine to my dark world and keeps me going. It wasn’t any easier for aaditya to accept the empty space of abhimanyu, he once came mid night and gave me a kiss and on asking for the sudden gesture he replied “You still have one son, I only had one brother”. Life is very uncertain so live the moment to the fullest while you can.
